Well, despite waking up FREEZING this morning, things are going along nicely. Dear Hubby took the teen to middle school which was a great break for me. Then, I did the dishes and Mox and i went for a little walk to the playground up the road. There is a back way there through the next subdivision, but I thought we were going the wrong way so we turned around and went by the BIG road. He road his little trike. We got to the playground and saw a whole lotta interesting things. Ther was an older man flying a remote control airplane and there were three people practicing there parachuting. It was a little windy so they'd start the parachutes up into the wind and try to turn the chutes around and stuff. They stayed on the ground and had a coach guy to help them. It looked like hard work. But it was neat to watch. Mox played at the playground for awhile! That makes me really happy because then I feel like I am not letting him rot in front of the tv and video games all day. We walked home through the development found the right way this time and came on home to some yummmy fruit pops fro a snack for Mox.
We may even go to the library this afternoon.
Yesterday was a successful shopping day for Mudd. I think she had a good time, although she was lamenting the fact that her friends had no concept that they were spending quite a bit of money for a halloween costume. Almost 60 bucks when you added it all up. But, I am really glad that she seems to be hanging out with a nice group of gals and that she is starting to adjust to life in cali.
Dear hubby is back from his trip safe and sound ... which I am very thankful for. Just hope no overseas trips are in the works at his job. Poor hubby is tired from his travels, but he was very glad that he went and the birthday was a great surprise and success!
Hope to get him out to buy me some new furniture this weekend. maybe then we can get our house a little more settled.
Despite a cold and some ants in the house all and all am having a good day! Saw some cute halloween decorations in the next subdivision over, maybe inspired to try to get some outdoor decor going! Well, toodles for now socal trix
